We're so proud to have have worked with some amazing authors to curate an incredible collection of stories highlighting the importance of our city's Modern architecture. Take a few moments to dig into these 5 short articles on the diverse men and women who shaped Milwaukee in the 20th century. The recent past is just as important to appreciate and preserve as our older places, and we're so glad to have partnered with DOCOMOMO US to bring awareness to the value of Milwaukee's groovy Mid-Mod gems.
This month we celebrate some great win-wins and offer important ways you can help ensure even more preservation wins to come! Our April newsletter highlights:

To set us up to do great work in 2021, we set out with a goal to raise $20,000 in 2020 year-end contributions. Thanks to YOUR incredible support, the backing of our amazing Board of Directors, and matching gifts from our generous friends Barbara Fuldner and David Uihlein, we are proud to report that we met and exceeded our goal and have raised over $21,000 in gifts and pledges!
It's clear that there is strong support for preservation advocacy in our city. We are so grateful to everyone who contributed to this campaign, which will allow us to expand programming, empower local neighborhoods, and develop new partnerships in our effort to make sure the places and stories that give our city meaning are valued and protected.
2021, here we come!

You'll learn about all we accomplished together in 2020, hear our vision for 2021, and pick up a few bits of trivia on our City's beloved places and new MPA Executive Director Jeremy Ebersole.
