We’re excited to offer YOU an opportunity to be a part of the critical work of MPA by joining one of our working committees. If you’re a member (and if you’re not, what are you waiting for?), we invite you to apply to join one (or all!) of our Advocacy, Programming, or Development Committees. 

• The Advocacy Committee is responsible for working with the Executive Director to continue established MPA advocacy campaigns (as Board approves) and develop advocacy strategies and policies to address future threats.
• The Programming Committee is responsible for working with the Executive Director to facilitate the creation of mission-aligned educational programming.
• The Development Committee is responsible for public facing functions of the organization and focuses on matters relating to Marketing, Membership Development, Communications, Fundraising, and Community Partnerships.

(Note: Committee participation is currently limited to MPA members only. Meetings take place once a month and are currently virtual on Zoom, on average running about 1-2 hours.)
